The pepper grinder works well, but every time you use it, the salt shaker top comes off. The top is flimsy and not attached securely. It only requires a slight rotation to take it off. There is always a danger of the salt shaker top falling off when you use the salt shaker function. This could have been easily prevented by making it a screw on/off cap.

The look is there. Yes, it’s stylish and yes it’s nice to have two in one…But the salt shaker’s holes are way too big. Probably will be great for people who use a lot of salt. My family is on a low sodium side, so will have to be very careful with the shaker. I also could not figure out how to adjust the mechanism on the grinder.

We wanted to find another salt shaker and pepper ginder in one to replace a previous one that broke and this certainly fits the bill. Its design is good and it takes up little space on the table. The only downside is that the salt comes out a bit fast and to grind the pepper you need to grasp onto the top of the salt shaker (not as sanitary). Overall, however, we are pleased with the purchase.

I bought this because I needed a pepper grinder that I could use easily. I have slight arthritis in my left thumb. This grinder is perfect for me.
