For almost 10 years, we have had moderately expensive Dansk china for every day use. And, some of the plates and mugs have gotten chipped on the rims. So, we tended to use plastic plates from frozen meals first, and then some plain Corelle plates that I had ordered several years ago–just to avoid harming the Dansk china further. I got sick and tired of this, and when I found the Enhancements pattern on line, and it was similar to the Dansk china that we had, I ordered THREE sets of service for four. However, the sets do not include a 9-inch plate, and the Amazon source for those was very expensive. The mugs, by the way, are not Corelle chip-proof, but we had so many mugs in the house that it did not matter to me. So, now I use the Corelle Enhancements dinnerware without worrying about breakage or chipping, and though it is not as chi-chi as the Dansk china that it replaced, it serves our every day needs much better. We have given the Dansk china to a friend.

I love this brand! It is really light which makes serving food in it a huge plus. I will buy a set of 20 for entertaining guests.

I use these in a Condo rental. They never scratch or break. They look great and go with everything. The only reason I gave it 5 stars was because I couldn’t give it six.

I recently purchased 3 sets for everyday use. I previously owned a set of Corelle for 12 and they received daily use (abuse?) for at least 15 years. They were still in decent shape…just the edges of the dinner plates were worn.
Corelle is great for kids because they are very lightweight and durable (although if you do manage to break one, glass does go everywhere!). In 15+ years and 2 kids, I only broke 2 plates and one bowl. I also like that you can stack many dishes in a really small space.
Although they make many patterns, I wasn’t sure I wanted to look at one for the next 10-20 years, so I picked this simple, white set. Plus, any food looks fine on it!

I really am happy with this set and think they look as good as they did when we got them 5 years ago before we got married. I didn’t know how I was going to set up my kitchen and I wanted something that would go with everything. They always look bright, clean and shiny and I can use any color tablecloth or napkins with them. I’ve inherited some serving dishes and bowls from family members and I like that they can be used with the Enhancements and nothing clashes. It’s a great set because I have so many options for color and variety. They heat well in the microwave and show no knife marks after cutting on them. They are light and I think they feel elegant. I even use them with the sterling silverware I inherited and they look elegant. I can dress them up or down and I’m not disappointed. And with all the use, not one chip or break! Also, after watching my friends live in fear of their expensive china becoming chipped or broken I realize how lucky I am — I could buy service for 4 for what they spend on one plate.
