I absolutely love this bowl. I live in a cooperative house and we have a couple of these Corelle bowls and they are the perfect size for serving of soup or a main dish and side dish, and often I use it as a small serving bowl (for vegetables, etc.).

I chose to purchase the 20 ounce salad/pasta bowl because I like the shallow, flat bowl for ease of movement of pasta sauce and salad dressing. Everything becomes coated much easier in this bowl type.

I bought a whole set of Corelle dishes. I really like them and they are very hard to break. They last almost forever. The only dishes/bowls I buy.

Corelle plates and bowls have been with our household ever since I remember.
We used to have (we still have them but they are on the shelves) Corelles with color designs but we decided to stick with simple plain ones which is easier to match.
Pros:
-Durable. Me and my wife have dropped them many times; and they don’t break easily.
-Light. Less stress for our kitchen shelves.
-Microwave safe
-Easy to clean
-Dishwasher safe

We purchased two sets of these bowls. We really liked the paintings. However, after a few weeks of using them, we noticed mold on the backs (the part that actually sits on the table). Plus, when they were stacked for storage, we found moisture in between the bowls. Maybe they weren’t properly glazed? I don’t know, but now we are out $100 dollars. I wouldn’t take another chance with these..

Manufacturer’s packaging was good, but Amazon put that box into a very large box with absolutely no cushioning, so it slid and bounced around in that box all the way to me.
I called Amazon customer service and they said they would issue a refund as the item is no longer available (I needed for a gift for this weekend, so now I have to try to find something else locally.) The kicker is they said they would be sending me a return label (guess they want their broken dishes back), and I will have to box the item back up and TAKE TO MY NEAREST UPS location–WTF?? Why do I have to haul this thing to somewhere–why can’t they have it picked up at my doorstep where they left it?? Wish I had been home when package arrived as I would have heard the broken pieces rattling in the box and refused the shipment.
