I bought these dishes and loved them! They are beautiful and exactly what I wanted. However, after one or two washes in the dishwasher, the design on the plates and bowls were extremely faded. We took them back to Macy’s and they happily refunded our money. I would not recommend these dishes. Although perhaps we got a bad lot. Note:
The Macy’s cashier told me that they were currently on sale in the store for $28/set. I purchased them from Amazon.com for $79/set.

I love these dishes! The bowls are larger than expected (hold 4 cups) but they are very pretty and are great for soup or serving vegetables. The bowls and smaller plates are really beautiful and each one is a little different. I ordered 2 sets and there were 3 bowls that were broken. A quick call to the number on the invoice got me awesome service. They sent me a whole new set (arrived in perfect shape) and I was not required to return any of the extra dishes and I was not charged for the extra set. Was going to order extra plates through Mikasa – but now I don’t have to. Love it!!

I love these dishes! They have a shiny glaze to them that you may not see in the photo but this does not detract from how beautiful they are. I have had them for about 6 months and I have not had a single problem with them. I have run them through the dishwasher many, many times and they have held up well. I love the coffee mugs as they are easy to hold when I am not so agile on early mornings:) The plates are great and like the other reviewer, I love the bowls. We eat cereal just about everyday in these and they are a perfect bowl for soup, pasta, rice…whatever. I have used them in the microwave many times and I have not had any issues with them being used in there. These are a sturdy set of dishes and very beautiful:)
