How to Keep Your Porcelain Tableware Stainless!

- At first pile up your teapot and cups in warm foamy water and soak lids, saucers, or plates in a bowl of the solution. After waiting several hours or overnight, wipe the tableware with a soft cloth. Wash each piece with water to remove any traces of vinegar and then dry with a dish towel.
- Do not brush forcefully or use scouring pads or harsh cleansers. If the dirt is still hard to remove, wash it for longer period.
- Use white or apple cider vinegar and water to remove any stains that will return your valuable porcelain to like-new condition.
- A mild metal will be needed in moving the scratch left by spoons and forks. And to remove tea stains you can use chlorine bleach to wash the cups and clean it properly.

You can also keep your porcelain figurines beautiful in a natural way. At the outset mix a tablespoon of boiling water with a 1/4 cup of Cream of Tartar. Until thoroughly mixed into a paste, blend with a spoon. Apply the paste with a damp sponge and scrub the porcelain surface until it gleams. Finally wash the surface with warm water, and it will shine.

- Use your fine porcelain tableware only on special occasions. Don’t use them to reheat foods or place them inside in an oven. It might lead to create cracks.
- Keep porcelain figurines in a curio cabinet or behind glass where it won’t amass a lot of dust.
- Avoid scrubbing pads or toothbrushes as they can easily damage the porcelain’s delicate enamel.
- Never place your favorite porcelain figurines in the dishwasher, as they are far more delicate than china. .
