Review by Paw Print for Lenox Holiday Tree Dish

I actually received one of these as an early holiday gift this year and loved it so much, I began looking on the Internet for same, hoping to find them at a decent price after the holidays. I plan on giving them as gifts to my friends next year; they are that nice!
This is true Lenox and Lenox quality trimmed in gold; real gold atop the rim. It is delicate bone china with their infamous “holiday” design but it isn’t something that will break if you sneeze at it. It is approx. 8″ tall, maybe 6″ at the widest part, feels sturdy in the hand, and holds quite a bit of nuts, candy, M&Ms, kisses, etc. I actually used it for serving cranberry/ginger sauce at dinner and it made a nice presentation at the dinner table amidst all my old, cranky stoneware.
While this particular dish runs about $39.00-$45.00 normally, I found it here at less than $15, Prime, free s&h!!!! I couldn’t find it for less than $29.99 anywhere else plus s&h, including overstocks, inventory closeouts, Lenox after Christmas sale, etc. So, I hope my friends aren’t going to see this review as their 2010 Christmas surprises will be ruined. There are a few other designs of this dish, i.e., an angel vs the tree design, but she is quite a bit expensive. However, you can bet your boots I’ll be watching that one over this next year!
Happy New Year Everyone!

Review by A. Fossen for Lenox Holiday Tree Dish

I love the Lenox holiday collections- ornaments, dishes, etc. I regularly buy them and gift them out at Christmas time. I purchased this particular dish as a gift for my grandmother, thinking it would make a dish for sides at the family Christmas gathering. However, it was a little smaller than I had realized- the sides were low. So, wouldn’t really work as a side dish bowl. But, it was a good size for hor’dourves and sweets. And the quality was quite nice- pretty painting, nice and heavy. I liked it so much I bought one for myself.
I’m quite satisfied with this purchase. I’m thinking about getting another so I can have a pair.
