These are advertised as being made of “brushed metal” and acrylic. They are NOT metal at all. They are simply molded plastic that is finished to “look like” metal, which in time would only begin to flake off. They are certainly not worth the price. I am returning mine immediately. I will be looking for a more quality set.

This set of a pepper grinder and salt shaker were a gift for my in-laws. They love the set and use them daily. They are a great value as well.
