I just received my dishes today and am happy with the quality of them. Do wish there were no ridges in the middle of the plates (wish they where flat). Haven’t used the dishes yet so I can’t comment on how they hold up to serving and washing etc.
I am highly disappointed that one of the large plates was broke in half when I received them, UPS has a habit of throwing packages around, so you would think they would have been packed better from amazon. I have not contacted amazon yet on a solution, but for the cost to ship them back, I could order a replacement plate alot cheaper.

I bought the 32-piece Rio set for my mom. She loves the pattern. However, 6 of the 32 pieces were broken or cracked. Amazon was wonderful about coming up with a solution. However, as to the dishes, having an 18% breakage rate is ridiculuous.

The item was great but one on the dishes were chipped. It was too time consuming to return 1 dish so I kept the set. Too bad it was damaged.

Don’t know where all the reviews went that were here when I ordered. Anyway, I ordered 16 place settings. Very happy with colors, quality, heft, etc. Two pieces arrived broken, but Amazon made good on those instantly and graciously. I am very pleased with this order.

I bought 2 of these sets but one arrived with broken pieces and the other was missing items. Amazon gave me credit for the whole order and didn’t want it back so I wnet to Pfaltzgraff for the broken / missing items and overall it was a great bargin !!
