I’m horribly picky when picking out kitchen products (OCD-like) and I love these mixing bowls. I have a modern kitchen and they fit right in. Picture is exactlly how they look when they arrive. They’re sturdy yet sleek.
I get lazy sometimes and let them sit in water and they get a few waterspots but that’s easily removed by barkeepers friend or perhaps just some soap and water.
I’d highly recommend this product.

Good for some things, not so great for others. The steep sides make mixing and folding a little difficult but take up a minimum of cabinet space. Useful for general utility work such as holding chopped veggies but certainly not ideal for universal applications.

I got them without any dents. They looked perfect and used them few times to make brownies, salad dressings, and any other mixing needs and they’re great!! So far they have been durable and didn’t mutate or rust upon in my dishwasher. It’s more like a deep bowl than the actual mixing bowls I used in restaurants, but it does that job and looks great! My sister in law fell in love with them and I think she got them next day, or stolen mine…

The smallest bowl is not one quart as stated but about 2-3 cups. The largest bowl does not have a 5 quart capicity but rather a 3 quart capicity. They also seem cheaply made.

The bowls are decent for the price. They’re not the best quality but they serve it’s purpose. The picture is a good representation of the bowls, unpolished matte steel on the outside and a polished shiny steel band on top and on the inside. The only draw back of the polished steel is that it may leave water spots which can be visible (disclosure – the water in my home is somewhat hard so this may not be applicable to those with softer water).
The two smaller bowls are good for mixing or holding small quantities of food. Visually, it is a big jump in size from the two smaller ones (1 and 1.5 quart) to the 3 quart bowls due to the steep/vertical sides of the bowls. The vertical sides may be a problem for some in terms of mixing but it also prevents things from spilling over so I guess it depends on your perspective. As mentioned in another review, the bowls, when stacked leave a smaller footprint inside your cabinets which in my opinion is a plus.
Overall, I’m satisfied with the bowl set.
