I had registered for these dishes and received them as a wedding present. They’re absolutely beautiful and look like stoneware. The plates and bowls are generously sized, but they fit fine in a relatively small dishwasher. Have had no problems with chipping or anything. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on the set!

These are pretty dishes, we purchased four sets to be able handle larger family gatherings. We wish we had never purchased these dishes, they scratch incredibly easily from our flatware, three of the mugs have had the handle simply fall off after heating in the microwave, some of the plates broke in the dishwasher from the heat cycle. Oatmeal sticks to the bowls like glue. I have never seen such poor quality dishes. In the end, they are pretty, but bad…call them “Pretty Bad”. AVOID!

We have used these several times a week (on average) for about 9 months, and they have been reliable thus far. One mug is chipped, probably due to our rough handling. No problems yet with cracking otherwise. We do not have a dishwasher, but have warmed things up on these dishes in the microwave many times.
The design is really nice in my opinion. The color is attractive, and the general impression one gets is “BIG”. The plates are huge and have a cute and helpful lip to keep food on-board, and the bowls are really deep and wide. If you are trying to do “portion control” for a diet, these dishes will NOT help. They are massive. And I like that!
