These are beautiful dishes of great quality. The dinner plate has a wide rim so that it does not hold a large amount of food if you are a hefty eater. Also the dessert/salad plates are smallish as well as the mugs. I think most people that eat limited portions won’t mind this but anyone who loves to load up the plates or enjoys large size mugs of coffee, etc. would be very annoyed. Ever since I laid my eyes on the SPODE collection in London, I fell in love with it. But I didn’t buy yet because I was relocating to US. When I arrived in CA, US, I tried to search if I can buy it here on Amazon. I was extremely happy that they’re available that I bought 2 sets, one as a gift for my friend and one for me. The packages arrived on time before Christmas. We enjoyed our Christmas dinner using the new SPODE collection I bought. My friend was very pleased with her new dinner set and so am I!
