Have you ever thought about the best way to make a mango smoothie? We have, and frankly, we were stumped as to how to make a mango smoothie as well as possible.
That is why we decided to do some research and look into several different mango smoothie recipes to see which one was best.
We ended up finding 17 that were excellent, and we are sharing them here.
1. Tropical Breakfast Smoothie (sometimes called sunshine in a cup):

What to Put in the Blender:
- 1 cup of mango chunks, one fresh orange
- 1 1/2 cups of pineapple chunks
- 11 ounces of coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 3 ice cubes
- 1 thumb sized piece of fresh ginger
- 2 heaping tablespoons of honey
The chunks of fruit can be either fresh or frozen. Make sure to peel and chop the ginger before putting it in.
2. Mango Smoothies for Weight Loss (our favorite!):

What to Put in the Blender:
- 1/4 cup chopped mango
- 1/4 cup ripe avocado puree
- 1/4 cup pure mango juice
- 1/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Ice cubes
This recipe is gluten free and friendly to both vegan and paleo diets, making it great all around.
3. Pineapple Ginger Smoothie (okay, so this isn’t actually a mango smoothie, but we like it enough to include it on the list):

What to Put in the Blender:
- 1 banana
- 1 1/2 cups of fresh pineapple
- 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger
- 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup of ice
- 1/2 cup of either water or pineapple juice
4. Orange Mango Smoothie

What to Put in the Blender:
- 1 handful baby spinach
- ½ avocado cut into chunks
- ½ cup frozen mango chunks
- ½ orange or 1 clementine
- 1½ tablespooons chia seeds
- 1½ tablespoon hemp seeds or flax seed meal
- ½ cup filtered water
- ¼ cup of crushed ice (if using frozen fruit ice is not needed)
This recipe is very healthy and tastes amazing.
5. Mango Carrot Smoothie (yes, the vegetables are making their way in, but are still great):

What to Put in the Blender:
- 1 cup of mango pieces
- 1 medium banana
- 1 cup of frozen carrot pieces and
- 1 1/2 cups of orange juice
The carrots actually add to the sweetness of this drink, believe it or not…
6. Yummy Mango Smoothie (but really, they’re all yummy):

What to Put in the Blender:
- 2 mangoes
- 1 1/4 cup of skim milk
- 3 or 4 ice cubes and
- 2 tablespoons of either or sugar or honey
You should chop the mangoes first to make it easier on your blender.
7. Two Ingredient Mango Soft Serve Smoothie (this almost couldn’t be easier):

- 2 cups of frozen mango chunks and
- 1/3 cup of either plain or organic Greek yogurt
This is a great recipe for vegetarians, not to mention that it is gluten free.
8. Power Peach Mango Smoothie (these aren’t the only two ingredients, though):

What to Put in the Blender:
- 1 ripe mango
- 2 large carrots
- 1 ripe peach
- 2 1/2 teaspoons of lime juice and
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk
This makes 14 ounces of smoothie and is a quick recipe.
9. 4 Ingredient Mango Green Smoothie (quick and easy):

- 1 1/2 cups of frozen mango pieces
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup of packed baby spinach leaves
- 3/4 cup of Almond Breeze unsweetened vanilla almond milk and cashew milk blend.
This recipe is very healthy and tastes amazing.
10. Banana Mango Avocado Green Smoothie (it’s green, which usually means it’s healthy):

What to Put in the Blender:
- 1 cup of frozen mango chunks
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup of spinach leaves
- 1/2 medium avocado
- 1 cup of almond milk or any other type of non-dairy milk
- 1 splash of vanilla extract and
- 3 drops of Stevia extract or the sweetener of your choice
11. Refreshing Mango Berry Smoothie (both delicious and hydrating:

- 1/2 cup of frozen mango
- 1/3 cup of frozen peaches
- 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries
- 1/3 cup of frozen blueberries
- 1 cup of pure coconut water and
- 1 tablespoon of honey or another natural sweetener
12. Mango Colada Smoothie (this one has alcohol):

- 1/2 cup of frozen or ripe fresh mango cubes
- 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/4 cup of cream of coconut
- 1/2 cup of ice
- 1/4 cup of white rum and
- 1/2 cup of mango juice or unsweetened nectar
13. Frozen Pineapple Mango Margarita (for anyone who loves both mangoes and margaritas):

- 1 1/2 cups of frozen mango chunks
- 1 1/2 cups of frozen pineapple chunks
- 4 tablespoons of agave nectar
- 2 to 4 tablespoons of lime juice
- 2 to 4 tablespoons of lemon juice
- a couple of handfuls of ice cubes and
- 6 to 8 ounces of tequila
If you like your margaritas with salt, you should feel free to salt to the rim of your glass after pouring in your drink.
14. Nourishing Pineapple Mango Smoothie

- 1/2 cup diced frozen pineapple
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
15. Carrot Mango and Kiwi Smoothie

- 1 cup frozen mango chunks, slightly thawed
- 2 kiwis peeled and quartered
16. Tropical Mango Smoothie (just as the name sounds):

- 1/2 cup of fresh pineapple chunks
- 1/2 scoop of your favorite protein powder
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla and as much ice as you want
17. Mango Pineapple Smoothie (just as simple as it sounds):

- 1 cup of mango chunks
- 1 cup of Dole pineapple
- 1/4 cup of plain Greek yogurt and
- 1/2 cup of coconut water
You will drink this and feel like you are on a tropical vacation.
